ABOUT US

The Artists Behind Pajaro Azul

Eneida and Jorge are two professional artists and educators with a passion for learning, a joyful dedication for creating art in multiple media and subject matter, and a lifelong dream of making original and affordable works of art in Santa Fe, New Mexico!

Eneida taught art in Maryland for many years. She has a degree in graphic design from The American University in Washington, DC., and a background in painting, printmaking, and ceramics. Eneida’s colorful imagery is influenced by the tropical nature of her Costa Rican origins.

Jorge is a 31-year Elementary, Middle and High School art teacher with a degree in Studio Art from American University in Washington, DC., and a background in painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, shadow boxes, hand-made books, collages, mural painting, and mosaics. He is a Nicaraguan American artist who delights in intuitively welding his indoor and outdoor metal sculptures at Ghost Ranch, in Abiquiu, New Mexico during the summer and fall seasons!
